Finding the Money
It's what we all want to know: how to find the goose and her golden egg. Where to look for the key nugget of funding that
will ensure the program happens, the equipment is in place, the staff is trained, the new facility is built, the database is
secure, and the patients get the highest standard of care. Sometimes, the dollars we seek simply help keep the doors open,
or make sure the organization can meet basic operating expenses. But regardless of the reason for fundraising, we all face
the challenge of finding a good match between our needs (and ambitions) and the dollars/donors we might approach.
Whatever the project, idea, or campaign, prospecting requires time and attention. It’s important to have a plan, do your
research, understand what works, and know what can be achieved with the grant money you seek. With this in mind, we offer
